| 英文描述 | Foot rot in sheep is caused by the anaerobic bacteria DICHELOBACTER NODOSUS, an obligate parasite of the hoof that causes problems in synergy with many other ubiquitous microorganisms. Mild cases are known as scald. Signs of interdigital necrosis and undermining of the hoof are almost pathognomonic. In severe cases abscesses of the foot develop (bumblefoot, bulbar necrosis). |
